Meridian OS
A speculative desktop environment exploring what an operating system built around ambient, glanceable windows could feel like in 2030.
ConceptInteraction DesignMotion
Meridian OS is a self-initiated study asking a narrow question: what happens to a desktop when notifications stop interrupting and start orbiting?
Every window in the system sits on a radial dock that keeps peripheral tasks visible but quiet, dimming as they age and brightening on relevance. The prototype was built in Framer and later ported to a small Rive-driven demo for a talk at a regional design meetup.
No production ship was ever planned. The interaction patterns from Meridian — particularly the orbiting dock — later informed real work on Halcyon's notification tray.
